CODY BELLINGER: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 4 RECAP

CODY BELLINGER: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 4 RECAP

Opening Day is literally right around the corner, and while it feels like forever since we last saw our Boys in Blue, baseball for the next few months is going to be amazing. Belli… Belli, I bet it feels great to be out there on the field with your teammates, getting to be your wild self as you prepare to enter once more another year of being with the Dodgers, but this time on Opening Day, there will a difference.

You are entering that game as part of the team that is the one and only World Champions of 2020.

We got to see Belli play in five out of seven Dodger games this week. With a total of 12 AB and only one hit. It was something that we did not expect yet compared to not having him play at all; it was more than enough. It’s just a matter of time for him to warm up. It is clear that there is still work to be done but then again, once the season begins, everything changes.

I mean, hey, I sure do miss watching all those amazing catches and Belli hitting home runs. Seeing him rob a home run or to make an amazing play at the plate to hearing Joe David call another Belli Bomb.

I’m sure we’ll get plenty of those this season. As we wrap up this final week of Spring Training, let’s see how Belli did overall this Spring Training.

In your opinion, who are the candidates for NL MVP? Could Belli reclaim his title? Any other Dodger in mind?
