CODY BELLINGER: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 2 RECAP

CODY BELLINGER: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 2 RECAP

Belli!?!? Where are you? When are you coming back? Belli…

We all miss seeing you out on the field.

You have to get better and come back to play for your team who needs you to help them bring back the championship to LA. Again.

Also….Did you learn your lesson as to being more careful when celebrating with your teammates?

As many of us may know, Bellinger dislocated his shoulder following the NLCS after bumping it with his teammates. Despite that, he continued to play in the World Series. Ultimately getting surgery back in November of 2020, following the World Series.  So, when exactly is Bellinger going to make his 2021 debut?

According to Dave Roberts, “From what I saw today, I saw four at-bats, and I saw him get off a lot of good swings. And for not seeing a lot of live pitching, he was well ahead, so I was really encouraged today from Cody.”

The previous idea was to hopefully have him for the game Monday, March 15th game. But there is no need to rush, especially with something like this.  Bellinger is expected to make his debut on Tuesday, March 16th, against the Brewers. Information on Bellinger and speculation as to who will be the opening day starter can be found here. With opening day right around the corner, it is important to make sure our players are well enough to perform to their fullest potential.

I think I speak on behalf of many of us that Bellinger is missed and seeing him be his wild self out on the field.  Well, not only him, the Dodgers in general. Like no baseball since November, only recently with the Start of Spring Training, is crazy.

But Get Ready, Dodger Fans, THE BOYS IN BLUE ARE BACK.
