Joc Pederson has had a rough season both on the field and off (missed time for family reasons), but he seems to be heating up at the right time.

Joc had an RBI single on Friday, a go-ahead two run opposite field homer on Wednesday, and a smoked single against a lefty (!) on Sunday. This may not seem like much, but it’s the msot consistent Pederson has looked all season. His at-bats have been longer and he seems to be chasing the ball out of the zone less and less recently.

Pederson figures to start in left field or as the DH against righties (and maybe lefties, but probably not) during the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, but Dave Roberts has said that Joc might not travel with the team to the NL bubble in Texas should the Dodgers advance due to personal reasons.

This might be the last week we see Pederson play for the Dodgers, as he’s a free agent after this year.
