Weekly Update: AJ Pollock

AJ Pollock had another great week in his extremely strong 2020 season. He’s constantly on the bases late in games and drove in a crucial insurance run with an RBI single on Wednesday night. Pollock’s ability to get on base consistently late in the game plays well for the playoffs, an area in which he really struggled last year.

Both Pollock’s power and equal splits have continued so far this year, as he’s hit well against righties and is one of the only Dodgers crushing left-handed pitching. As if demonstrating this, Pollock hit a homer off lefty Madison Bumgarner on Thursday and crushed one of righty Zack Greinke on Sunday.
