Now, starting Game 1 of the NLDS was no surprise for me against the Padres. He was more rested than Kershaw would’ve been if he started.
Only pitching through 4 innings he threw 95 pitches (52 strikes) giving up 1 ER.
So Buehler’s final line was 4.0 IP, 2 H,1 ER, 4 BB, and 8 Ks. He looked good and will get the start for Game 1 of the NLCS tomorrow vs the Braves on Fox at 5:10PT
