Pederson didn’t play much the NLDS, but he got a very big hit in Game 3. Against righty reliever Craig Stammen, the exact sort of bad reliever that he’s in the lineup to feast on, Joc hit an RBI double to left field to score Bellinger and Pollock. This was great to see from Pederson, as he stayed with the ball and just slapped it to left field, as it was on the outside part of the plate. His at-bats have been limited but very good so far in the postseason, continuing his good stretch in late September.

Pederson should start against righties in the NLCS and probably come into the game vs. righty relievers. While he’ll most likely DH most of the time, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in left field should the need arise.
