The man can’t be stopped! Mookie Betts has continued to put up MVP numbers this 2020 season and it looks like he’ll win it if the Dodgers can hold on to the division lead. Betts leads in WAR against all MLB position players, according to baseball-reference.com.

This past week was a little weird for Mookie. Weird in the sense he was given Sunday off even with two off-days this week.

Exciting, though, was Mookie’s Dodger debut at second base last night! Who would’ve thought we’d see him there?! It is 2020. He didn’t do extraordinarily well but he was decent. He was able to turn routine grounders into outs so that’s a plus.

I don’t expect him to be in the infield anymore. It’s really unnecessary, especially when he has the ability to play stellar defense in right field.

All in all, it was a strong, quiet week for Mookie and the Dodgers. Let’s see what he has in store for the Astros and Padres!
