Dodgers avoid arbitration with Julio Urias

The Dodgers agreed to a $3.5 million dollar deal with Julio Urias avoiding arbitration. Besides Seager on offense, Julio might have been the postseason MVP. he was definitely an unsung hero and the best pitcher on the team in the playoffs. His 2020 season was a bit up and down especially with his walks and struggles in the first inning, but in the postseason he was nails whenever he was called on. He had a certain swagger and confidence we haven’t seen from him. The Dodgers will be looking for him to build upon that success and translate it as a starting pitcher through the season and into the playoffs.
