    cody bellinger weekly updateCody Bellinger was born on July 13th, 1995, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was drafted by the Dodgers in 2013, Round 4. He started playing in the Arizona Dodgers League in 2013. Till 2014 where he then began to play for the Ogden Raptors, ending that year once more in the Arizona Dodgers League. In 2015, he was moved to play with Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. That year he had a total of 30 home runs with a batting average of .264.

    Bellinger went on to play with Tulsa Drillers and then moved up to play with the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers Team, in 2016. In 2017, came the call that all players dream of receiving, he was called up to play in the Major Leagues. Making his MLB Debut on April 25th, 2017. Just that year, he played for 132 games, with a Batting Average of .267 and a total of 39 home runs.

    That same year, Cody Bellinger got the opportunity to join 5 other Dodgers in the All Star Game. At the end of the season, he won Rookie Of The Year, while getting to play in his first ever World Series. 2018, also landed him the title of NLCS MVP. 2019, though brought a lot of success for Bellinger’s career and recognition. He made it to the All Star once more. Won NL MVP, NL Silver Slugger and the Golden Glove for RF.

    Over the course of his career with the Dodgers, he has had his ups and downs, but shows his dedication for his team and his sport.
