As most or all Dodgers fans know OF Joc Pederson and OF/IF Kiké Hernandez are free agents and can sign with any team they’d like too. Knowing that both could resign with or leave LA is not a bad thing as much as others would say. Joc and Kiké both had big at-bats in the 2020 postseason but in my eyes didn’t show enough for the Dodgers to resign them.

With all that being said I don’t think the Dodgers should resign either of them. I think they can find more consistent players to play everyday LF or if not everyday someone who can own the majority of that position. First and I think the best option is already in our organization and who played well in 2020. Edwin Rios! Yes, that’s right I think Rios is good enough and consistent enough to take over this role. Personally I could see him producing more than Kiké and Joc ever did.

Now, if we were to trade or sign a new player I’d think signing free agent OF Kyle Schwarber I think wouldn’t be too bad of a sign.
