Where to begin… Tony Gonsolin has been doing pretty well this season.

Opener for the Spring Training game, to being brought up and sent down back and forth since the beginning of the season, to finally landing the role of official starter, he has had an interesting year.

The game that was on September 10th against Arizona, he did not do bad at all. He allowed 6 hits with 1 run in a total of 5 innings, but the Dodgers lost that game, which went under his record.

Following that game, he pitched against the Padres on September 15th. He pitched a total of 7 innings, only allowing 4 hits, 1 run , and 2 strikeouts, giving the Dodgers a 3-1 victory.

In today’s game, he was doing great up until the 4th inning, in which Colorado took the lead 2-0 over the Dodgers. Gonsolin pitched for a total of 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, 2 runs, 2 ER, 1 BB and 10 strikeouts.

Currently he is going 1-2, with an ERA of 1.51, with 8 games pitched and 40 ⅔ innings.

Still maintaining a low ERA, he continues to prove why he deserves to be a starting pitcher and that he has the potential to go far with the Dodgers.

    Keep it up Cat man!!

Can’t wait to see what the future holds for his career in the Majors, not to mention hopefully bring that World Series title.
