Joc Pederson missed the series in Arizona as he was put on the paternity list when his wife gave birth to their second child.
Pederson returned to the club on Saturday and hit a pinch-hit double in the ninth inning, although he was hitless on Sunday.
Joc has consistently hit the ball hard in 2020, but hasn’t gotten the results. His launch angle is not what it was last year, as he’s hitting. a lot of groundballs into the infield shift, but hopefully he can tap into some new dad stength for the last few weeks of the season.
