With the regular season coming to an end yesterday, let’s take a look at how Belli’s 2020 season looked. With a batting average of .239, 12 HR and 30 RBI, it is wondered how he will do in the postseason as in previous years it varied.
As we look at how he did on a daily game basis, his average game batting average was in the low to mid .200’s.
At the beginning of the week, with the 3 games series with the Athletics, he had at least 1 hit in all 3 games, including 1 homerun in the 2nd game. That same game, had a throwing error which cost the Dodgers a 3-0 loss by the end of the 1st inning. Later he made up for it through his homer in the 7th inning, although not enough to get the win that day.
He did not play yesterday’s game but the first 2 games with the Angels we went with only 1 hit in 6 at bats.
Let’s hope that he has a better postseason, as the attention is on the Dodgers in hopes to bring the championship home.
