Just like my Walker Buehler and Brusdar Graterol weekly updates this will be a 2 week update. (only this time) I will be back to weekly updates next Tuesday.

Now, Clayton Kershaw has been absolutely outstanding in 2020. Kershaw started 2 times and his numbers are very impressive. The first outing I’ll be talking about is against the Giants. He seemed zoned in because his last start the Giants handed him his only loss and not great start of the season. Kershaw’s final line was 6 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, and 0 Ks. He snapped his small streak of going two straight with at least going 7 full innings. Lowering his season ERA to 1.80.

His last start was vs the DBacks at home. His final line here was even better. 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 HBP. 2 BB, and 8 Ks. He dominated the DBacks! I wanted him to go out for the 7th but, he was at 89 pitches so it made sense to take him out. Plus he had a 5-0 lead.

He has to be in the Cy Young or maybe the MVP discussion because he has shredded the MLB this season. In 6 starts he is 5-1 with a 1.50 ERA, 6 ER, and 5 HRs (which is about an average of less than 1 HR per game). Also 3 of those 6 were in one game vs the Giants.
