Clayton Kershaw has been absolutely outstanding this year! He’s been the Kershaw that I’ve been dying to see again. He had two starts this past week. 1vs the DBacks and 1 vs the Padres.
His start against the Arizona Diamondbacks was not great but not bad either. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 4 H, allowing 3 ER, and 2 BB. Didn’t pick up the win since the game went into extras.
Now, this is probably gonna be tough to write about since this game still really bothers me. Kershaw was amazing against the San Diego Padres and I mean amazing! Although he only pitched 6.1 innings. Kershaw gave up 5 H, 3 ER (shouldn’t have been taken out), 1 HR, and 9Ks! I totally disagree with Roberts decisions sometimes but taking Kershaw out there wasn’t a good idea. He shouldn’t have been handed the loss for this game either but, he did and we lost. Our bullpen lost that game for us in my opinion.
