NLCS Review: Julio Urias

Julio made 2 appearances in the NLCS tallying 8 innings only issuing 3 hits and 1 run from a home run. He only struck out 5 and walked 2 but he was able to get outs. He utilized his curveball well which has been his best pitch this postseason. He’s been able to throw it all over the zone and generate weak contact and plenty of swings and misses. Julio got the last 9 outs in game 7. It wasn’t easy or pretty except the 9th but he got the job done. He’s come up big in the playoffs and my guess is he might be used more in the World Series and the Dodgers will need the same kind of production out of him in order to win it all.
