What a start to the 2020 MLB postseason for Mookie Lynn Betts! He lead off Game 1 with a double and scored the Dodgers’ first run of the playoffs. Mookie would get an RBI double later in the game.

Then in game 2, Mookie came up to bat against Brandon Woodruff with 2 men on base and a 1-0 lead against the Brewers. Up to that point Woodruff was filthy, striking out Betts his 2 prior plate appearances. This time, though, Mookie muscled a double down the left field line and brought in both runners to score. This effectively took Woodruff out of the game and forced Craig Counsell to bring in Josh Hader, the Brewers’ best reliever, early in the game with a deficit rather than late in the game with a lead.

All in all, Mookie was the best position player in the series and has all Dodger fans excited for what’s to come this postseason!
