National League Division Series Padres: Tuesday 10/6/2020: It looks as though Justin is back to his old self. In this game he had 1 hit in 3 at bats, he walked twice, scored 2 runs, he drove in 1 run, had 1 strikeout, and he left 1 man left on base.

Wednesday 10/7/2020: AAAAAAAND then this game happened in this back and forth heavyweight fight, Turner in 3 plate appearances had no hits, he left 3 men on base, struckout once, but he did have a run batted in that contributed to the 1 run victory.

Thursday 10/8/2020: This game featured a plethora of runs for our boys in blue, and almost everyone in the starting lineup got a hit, including JT. It was only one hit BUT it broke a tie for the franchise record for most Postseason Hits. The previous holder was Steve Garvey at 63 but now Justin Turner sits all alone with that mark and has the opportunity to add to his now solo record. Congratulations on this amazing milestone!

My overall assessment of JT is that he is coming along slowly, but surely. He may have had a game when he went hitless, however he did contribute but getting a run batted in, drew some walks, and also he now holds a new franchise record. This next upcoming series against the Braves will be a tougher test since their pitching is really good, so I expect him to get back where he needs to be, sooner than later.
