Dylan Floro Weekly updateOriginally drafted by the Rays out of high school in 2009, Dylan Floro turned them down to go to college at California State University – Fullerton. Drafted again by the Rays in the 13th round of the 2012, Floro made his debut in the majors with Tampa Bay on July 6, 2016. He went to the Chicago Cubs in 2017. In August of that year, the Dodgers claimed him off of waivers and sent him to their Triple-A team. At the time, he didn’t impress so he was designated for assignment.

After a brief stint with the Cincinnati Reds, the Dodgers once more acquired Dylan Floro as part of a trade in 2018. He posted really good numbers that year with a 1.63 era in 29 games in LA. In 2018, Floro allowed 1 HR with the Dodgers (and only 2 before leaving the Reds).

Floro struggled in 2019 with a 4.24 era in 50 games. He only allowed 4 home runs, but it seemed like hitters were just able to string hits together against him.

As of early September 2020, Dylan Floro had 1.08 era. He has only allowed 2 earned runs with no home runs in 17 games in 2020. He has been good at limiting walks and having a high strikeout rate. As of September, his strikeout to walk ratio is 12/3.
