I knew this was going to happen eventually. Dodgers utility man Kiké Hernandez signed a 2-year deal worth $14M. Seems he’d be their everyday second baseman. To me it’s a bitter sweet departure. He had some big at-bats for us in the postseason over the years. In some people’s eyes his 3 HR game against the Cubs to clinch the NL pennant in 2017 to send the Dodgers to the World Series for the first time since 1988 was his biggest moment. Which would could be a good argument.

His defensive skills were one of the best on the Dodgers. Although he’s made many outstanding defensive plays. In my eyes his biggest play of his career was his game tying HR in game 7 of the 2020 NLCS against the Atlanta Braves.

This is now the third player that the Dodgers have lost this off-season (Pedro Baez, Alex Wood and now Kiké Hernandez).

Other players like Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, and Jake McGee all remain unsigned.

I know there are Kiké haters out there but what was your favorite play or hit that Kiké made in his time in a Dodgers uniform?
