In 2014 Brusdar Graterol signed with the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent out of Venezuela at 16 years old. In 2015 he made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Twins. He went 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA in four starts. But Brusdar missed the 2016 season due to Tommy John surgery. In 2017, he returned to the mound with the Gulf Coast Twins and Elizabethton Twins going 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA in ten games.

Graterol made his Midwest League debut in 2018 with the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The Twins promoted him to the Fort Myers Miracles in June of that year. Between the two teams, he went 8-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 19 starts. He started 2019 off in double-a with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and made the All-Star team. On September 1, 2019, Graterol made his Major League debut pitching a scoreless inning in relief against the Detroit Tigers.

On February 10, 2020, the Twins traded Graterol to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The trade also included Luke Raley and the 67th pick in the 2020 draft. The Twins got Kenta Maeda, Jaír Camargo, and cash considerations. At only 21 years old, Brusdar Graterol made his first Opening Day roster in 2020 with the Dodgers. With an electric arm and an exciting personality, Dodger fans have something to look forward to with him for a long time.
