Life exists, therefore we all must perish.  We rise, we diminish. We are caught in ever complex baseball dichotomies.  Even on our grandest days, we must confront our end.  Sometimes we can see the blackness coming.  And sometimes a catcher with an OPS that hovers around .650 gets a single out of nowhere and your World Series dreams are yanked from you faster than a faulty parachute.

Baseball Dichotomies is an exercise in intangibles over stats.  Seriously, like….I still dunno how I feel about this one.  Was it boneheaded on Kevin Cash’s part?  But like, if the catcher (and not the good-hitter catcher) gets a hit, it has to mean that the lineup has figured some things out, right?  Or was it a lucky shot?  Guess we’ll never know.  Dodgers in six, baybee.  If you believe you might have a piece to contribute to the Museo Elgranarte de Gatodejazz, please reconsider.  If you have and still think you can do better, we recommend shouting into the void.  Or posting on Twitter, idk.  You do you, boo.
