CEASAR AJONUS HADRIANUS
RELIGIOUS ICONOGRAPHIES – CEASAR AJONUS HADRIANUS
A relic from the Before Times, when physical money was used at Dodger Stadium. Caesar Ajonus Hadrianus (or Emperor Hadrian to most of you uncultured swine) was the dominant force in the western portion of Rome during the Nerva–Antonine dynasty, both in the field and at the plate.
Notice the uneven hatching around the edges. This likely means this coin has been restruck, perhaps an attempt to cover up an image of previous ruler that came before Caesar Ajonus Hadrianus This happened often when an important figure was traded away such as in the case of Matticus Kemperonus. Still, it’s a fine example of local coinage native to Chaves Ravine.
This coin was among those found in this extremely real, extremely deep, extremely creepy hole-thing. Like it might not seem overly creepy, but you’re gonna think about it too hard and oh boy.

Caesar Ajonus Hadrianus is an exercise in dad strength. If you believe you might have a piece to contribute to the Museo Elgranarte del Gatodejazz, please reconsider. If you have and still think you can do better, we recommend shouting into the void. Or posting on Twitter, idk. You do you, boo.
All images are created by the indomitable @gatodejazz and are meant for Serious Contemplation in a Very Quiet Room after drinking some tap water to clear the pallet or as a companion to the viewing of a drag race. Car or Queen, either is acceptable.
