MAX MUNCY: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 3 RECAP

MUNCY: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 3 RECAP

MAX MUNCY: SPRING TRAINING WEEK 3 RECAP

Max Muncy’s third week of Spring Training was a lot better both statically and visually. He seemed more patient at the plate. He drew a decent amount of walks and extended his at-bats. Max had a nice RBI-double with two outs which is always a great sign from any player who was in a small slump. Getting a great swing on a fastball on a three balls-no strike count. Initially, I thought he hit a home run, but it fell short by just a few feet.  It could have been Muncy’s second home run of Spring Training.

My past two weekly recaps have not been as positive as this one will be. Going 1-for-18 in his first two weeks of spring training. Many fans were eager to say Muncy is going to have a bad 2021 because he had a bad 2020. I think a lot of us know Max Muncy has always had a slow start at finding his groove. It shows with these three weeks here. First, two weeks were bad as it can get and then this past week wasn’t outstanding, but he is more patient, having more good quality consistent at-bats.

I see Max having a pretty good 2021 season he’ll start off slow but will heat up and could lead the team a few stats as well.
