A reflection on Brandon Morrow, the best set up man in 2017.

The 2017 Dodgers had quite a few good players on their roster. I’m here to talk about Brandon Morrow who was a relief pitcher on that 2017 team. Morrow was one of the most dominant relievers out of the bullpen, with a fastball in the high nineties and the filthiest slider you’ve ever seen.
Morrow could have closed for any other team that year. Instead he insured the ball got to Kenley Jansen. Jansen received the award for best relief pitcher in the NL that year but I would rank Morrow not far behind him. Brandon Morrow did not allow many runs that year and didn’t allow a home run in the regular season the year the ball was allegedly juiced.
Overall I really like Brandon Morrow and would enjoy a reunion, but I don’t see that happening. 2017 was a really good year for Brandon Morrow. He ended with a record of 6-0 with a 2.06 ERA in 43.2 innings across 45 games. I do wish the best for Brandon Morrow and I hope he does well this year and stays healthy. Brandon Morrow was the perfect set up man for Kenley Jansen in 2017; This year maybe Craig Kimbrel will set up for Brandon Morrow.
