Flashback to May 22nd 2018 at Dodger Stadium
Welcome to this 3 part series in which I will be talking about my top 3 games that I attended in these past 2 years.
Kicking off is the game of May 22nd 2018, my birthday. That month didn’t start off well so going to that game was not planned. Previously I had thought about going but due to how things went, there was a huge chance I wasn’t going to go. A few days prior, my parents asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. Not knowing what to answer they pulled out the tickets to that game. After having a rough month,it brought me joy to go see the Boys in Blue play. To make things even better, it was the Bobblehead night of one of my favorite players, Corey Seager.
Dodgers were going up against the Colorado Rockies with pitcher Brock Stewart . That was the year Corey Seager got Tommy John surgery and while I didn’t get to see him play, I still got to see my favorite player Cody Bellinger play.
I remember that day as if it was just yesterday. I was as excited as ever. Being surrounded by fellow Dodger fans cheering on your favorite team, worked as a stress reliever for me. It was a nice way to have some time to just enjoy and put aside what was going on. Screaming loudly as the team scored and not to mention singing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the 7th inning stretch. What can I say, the environment at Dodger Stadium is one to remember.
What a better way to end the day, with the Dodgers winning the game 5 to 3, which included homers from Chris Taylor and Yasiel Puig. The love and passion Dodger fans have for their team is seen and felt in every game. Win or Lose, we bleed blue.
