It’s a Pederson thing

So last week I posted my “Ode to Joc Pederson”. In it I lamented at the loss of the Dodger outfielder to the Anaheim Angels, thank Yeezus I was wrong.
The trade that would have sent Joc, Ross Stripling, & OF prospect Andy Pages to the Angels fell through in the aftermath of the Mookie Betts deal. Rumor has it that Arte Moreno-the Angels owner-pulled the plug on the talks do to his frustrations and impatience. Now if you’re like me, reading something like that leaves you scratching your head, if you’re a team in desperate need of starting pitching and outfield depth then why kill a deal that would solve both of those problems? Thankfully I’m not paid to try and find those answers out-yet. Until that day though I’m going to assume and I’m going to probably assume incorrectly, and that’s ok. It’s ok because for now at least we get to keep Joc, Chicken-Strip, and the powerful Andy Pages-not to be confused with the Andy from Toy Story-going into 2020 and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Go Dodgers!
