What do you say, when you’re at a loss for words?

Hey everyone, it’s Juls!
Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve written anything on here. A lot of my other posts have been fun, and about my experience at Dodger games. This one just doesn’t feel like that.
I needed somewhere to talk without being limited by a certain amount of characters the way Twitter limits you.
The news of the Astros cheating back in 2017 has been gut wrenching. 2017 was the Dodgers year, everyone knew it. They were by far the better team. With the cheating scandal coming out, it just proves that the Dodgers would’ve and should’ve won.
As someone who has not lived to see the Dodgers win a World Series in her lifetime (so far), this news just hurts. This revelation hurts, but it also makes me so angry. I am so angry for my boys that worked SO HARD to get to the World Series, only to lose to CHEATERS. Kershaw’s post season downfall began with his time against the Astros. Game 5 could’ve been SO DIFFERENT for him. (IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT) His post season history would’ve been so different.
– Say what you want about my opinion on that, but that Game 5 truly fucked with Kershaw in my eyes. Given all the criticism and hate he received. –
If the Dodgers had been in the Astros shoes, winning a World Series by cheating, I would be PISSED. Throw the trophy away. No true fan wants to see their team finally win a World Series by cheating. You want to be the BEST, and the best doesn’t cheat.
Sports is an outlet for some of us, an outlet from our messed up lives, and this messed up world we live in. It gives us an escape to forget just for a few hours. For me, that’s baseball. Baseball has been and always will be that. The more these cheating scandals come out, the more it cheapens the game. Baseball used to be about the best, about heart, and the love of the game. How can these players, coaches and front office people say they love this sport, but go and taint it by cheating. You don’t cheat on the things you love.
If you’ve gotten this far in this poorly written, overly emotional, and messy blog post, thanks. I want to know how you feel about all this. Are you hurt? Are you angry? Are you over this conversation? Should we all just get over it, the Dodgers lost and there’s nothing we can do?
Give me a response, and let me know your opinion.
Until next time,
Juls
That was very well worded. I am very angry about all this news that has been coming out about the 2017 World Series. I totally agree with you on what you said about Kershaw. I think winning that World Series would’ve proven that Kershaw is the greatest pitcher ever. I love Kershaw and I’ll always have his back. No matter what. It just goes to show you that even with them cheating. How truly amazing our team was. We took them to a Game 7 and in Game 5 into extra innings which was a really high scoring game. It was absolutely our year! No doubt about it! That was the greatest roster of any Dodgers team I’ve ever watched. There will always be an asterisk next to the 2017 World Series to all Dodger fans.
